Hamburg, 22 July 2026CYANIS AI has secured more than €250,000 in pre-seed financing. The funding will support the continued development of the company's proprietary orchestration platform and the preparation of its first commercial AI-compute deployments.

CYANIS AI is building a distributed AI infrastructure network across household solar systems, commercial and industrial rooftops, as well as large-scale energy sites. Its proprietary software platform connects and intelligently orchestrates these distributed compute nodes into one unified, scalable AI infrastructure.

The distributed model is built around three requirements at the centre of Europe's AI agenda. Compute remains on European soil and under European control, helping keep AI workloads and data sovereign within the region. By distributing compute closer to where demand exists, the platform enables the ultra-low latency required for real-time AI inference. At the same time, by co-locating directly with energy generation, CYANIS AI integrates compute and power at the source rather than competing for scarce grid connections.

By deploying standardized infrastructure in parallel across locations with existing energy capacity, CYANIS AI can bring new AI-compute capacity online in months rather than years – helping close Germany's and Europe's growing compute gap without relying solely on large centralized data-centre projects with multi-year development timelines.

The financing was supported by industrial entrepreneur Christian Wichmann, Managing Director of BESI Marine Systems GmbH and Heinrich Behrens Pumpenfabrik GmbH & Co.

The platform is also designed to integrate and orchestrate existing third-party data-centre capacity, enabling infrastructure owners to participate in the CYANIS AI network without transferring ownership of their assets.

CYANIS AI is already working with partners across the energy, hardware, system integration and financing ecosystem and is preparing an initial commercial rollout targeting 10 MW of AI-compute capacity.
